Marvel Zombies!

Here are some pieces I did for sale for Free Comic Book Day. I zombified some cool characters, and they turned out pretty decent! I think the Wolverine piece turned out very well, but somes likes the Spidey.

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! MAY 6 2006

Okay, I made a mistake. Free Comic Book Day is May 6th, not the 7th. Sheesh! Anyway, here is the poster for the event. It is actually hanging in the window at TNT Comics for all to see! Will I get a draw? Will I get to draw? Come on by and see!!! The website for directions is

Anyway, I did some original Marvel Zombie stuff that I'll post in a minute, but they will be available for purchase, so if you like, come by and buy!
Not much else; I couldn't sleep the other night, as Sketch #3 was writing itself in my head, and I had to put it to paper. Not to brag, but it will be the coolest thing I've ever done, so get ready! If Jason ever lets me get back to working on my stuff, Sketch #2 will be out in about 6 weeks.

The Cover (duh!)

It has come to my attention that I have never displayed the cover to Sketch #1. Here it is!
BTW, I just received the preview copies from SIPS in the mail, and this is one fine looking book! The quality print job done by Jeff at South Island Printing is excellent. If you want to check them out, go ot

and give them a view. The only drawback is that the lovely US Government has raised/doubled shipping into the US, so the cost on the book went up dramatically.
The high cost of doing indie comics, I guess...
Regardless, things are going well. It's a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday, and I am doing a bunch of Marvel Zombie drawings for my upcoming signing at TNT Comics here in Lewisville on Free Comic Book Day, May 7th. How cool is that?

I will post some of the Zombie stuff later this week. Should be cool; I'm not doing stuff from the series, jsut taking other images and 'zombifying' them. Turning out pretty cool, too.

Sketch #1 is at the printers, and WILL be ready by Free Comic Book Day. Hopefully, someone will read it, this, or anything I create. When you don't receive any emails or comments, who knows?
Oh well. Screw you if you don't write. See if I sign YOUR copy of Sketch, you ingrate. At least I have this for posterity.

He's Da Bomb!!!

Okay, okay, it's been a couple'a weeks, I admit, but it was worth it! Sketch #1 went off th SIPS for printing this afternoon! Man, it is a work of passion, this one, and I hope I can keep the enthusiasm up for #2 and #3!! This is not the book you read to young Billy right before bed!

Here's a sneak peek at Page 21, the penultimate point in young Jimmy Bigby's eight year old life. Gives me the creeps!!!
